Before I post more articles on this blog, I would like to have a SEO Success Story Competition.
Three best written entry will be rewarded with a honorary place in my Link List.
Just tell the world, how you have done your SEO, how much have you spent, and how success it is or when is your expected succesful date. It does not have to be a long story, probably one or two paragraphs will be enough, as long as they cover the questions.
This competition will finish by the end of the month (April 2006).
Good luck…….

For many companies that own or manage web sites it has become more and more clear how important it is to be aware of the search engine optimization procedures. However, very few of them actually understand what the whole process is all about and what sort of activities are undertaken in order for the results to be as expected.
Most commonly the specialists from SEO companies will make an assessment describing the main activities carried out by your business, in order to determine which are the most likely words, keywords and phrases that customers will choose in order to search for your business.
Once the analysis is done and the area of activity together with the keywords have been determined, the specialists will focus on inspecting your website and providing you with step-by-step directions on which are the best ways to proceed in order to modify the content and structure of your web page and turn it into a search engine friendly one. These specialists will make an evaluation of everything related to your image on the web: from site’s url address, to its content, structure, alt tags, meta tags, titles etc.
Furthermore, it is the same companies the ones who will help you submit your website, by mean of using the special guidelines provided by each and every search engine in particular, in order to assure better placement. You have to be aware that unless the submission is performed according to the regulations, the listing of your company will be very much delayed or even refused, which is why you should make sure that this action is carried out by people who know what they are doing.
The most reliable companies are likely to offer to monitor your progress and recommend areas and modalities of improvement. Moreover since the submission rules change frequently, a correct reevaluation and a new submission are always necessary in order to maintain the highest possible ranking.
